7. A water color, impressionistic quilt. Spoke to the maker who told a bit about how the assembly produced the effect, I'd never seen one of these in person before.

9. I confess I'm biased to blue green quilts.
10. Just stunningly beautiful! Was an award winner w/ good reason!
11. The quilter made the Pineapple part very high relief quilting, just remarkable.
12. This was breath taking!

Bev, to be clear, that's MY term for it, impressionistic, it's just how it struck me. I believe they may be referred to as water color quilts.

17, By Gotham Quilts* (my local quilt store, lucky me). They have a marvelous Brick & Mortar store in NYC & are online as well, with classes & various activities including long-arm training & facilities. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Have no financial interest, but know the owners. 2 really talented & hardworking women, one of whom also went to same Textile School as I did (fka Phila. College of Textiles & Sciences). If I were able to, I'd be taking various classes w/ them including long-arm quilting. They've built themselves a business that's really a tremendous resource for quilters.

20. Am fascinated by this assemblage. Am a wovens / homespun person as well, so that particularly speaks to me.
