We are replacing the flooring in our laundry room and need to temporarily move the washer and dryer out of the room (and then back). Dryers are lightweight (albeit bulky) and simpler to move. The washer weighs just under 150 lbs and is a bit more delicate in terms of the vertical drum. The model is WT5680HWA, "5.0 cu.ft. MEGA Capacity TurboWash™ Washer with Steam." We have a hand truck rated to 275# and two strong young men, but we want to ensure that the act of moving it does not create internal damage if you will. When it arrived new, the drum was held in place with an insert that we no longer have. Any ideas how best to stabilize or immobilize the drum for movement? We'll be forced to tilt the unit on the hand truck, so we want to make sure things aren't banging around on the the inside. Any advice is appreciated!
