Nice door, open at the top

Luv the way the door opens at the top. How was this done? Is it easy to do on my own? Where can I find a door like this?

    We bought this window from Zola, it is called a Tilt-Turn. http://www.zolawindows.com/portfolio/tilt-and-turn-window

    They also make doors that do this function as well. I don't think you could create this yourself.

    Think I would rather have a smart Transom windows design over most of the doors vs this which was done manually in many years ago. Transoms historically were designed and used to allow passage of air flow and lighting between rooms even when doors were shut. This could be done using smart sensors and motion detectors for locking down a house as well as adjusting as desired to the temperature in a room. You could also install see through solar panels on the glass to tap into energy as well as have a bug screens.
