People live with varying priorities. I would hate to think people feel they are not welcome to post pictures here because they don't live up to someone else's standard of cleanliness.

I think it's good advice if you want people to look at your space and offer help.

Because it's easier to clearly see/assess the issue you're posting about.

It's more of a common sense functional issue vs. a judgmental issue.

I find it distracting seeing unmade beds, clothes strewn about, toilet seats open, cluttered counters, etc. I tend to focus on those things, can’t help It, my problem I guess.
