We recently moved into a new house that has a great neutral color scheme. It is an open floor plan and the kitchen has mid tone cabinets and black granite counters. The media stand is new, and I am planning on hanging the T.V. above it soon, but would love some advice styling it. The rug is also new. I am planning on painting the brick behind the wood stove white and putting a mantle top on it, but again would love some advice styling it. The color scheme for the space I am thinking of keeping it pretty neutral with beige's and brown's with pops of teal. I am thinking of painting most of the room a light beige and the wall with the window and slider a dark teal color, what do you think? Nothing on the media stand is staying, it is just some old stuff I put on it for now, the curtains and pillows are also going to be changed. I am going for a more contemporary style. I am also thinking of putting crown molding in the room soon. Thank you for taking time to give me you advice!
