Well in our kitchen the fridge will be panelled to match the white, and otherwise everything else stainless. In the laundry I thought I would do white machines if I do the dark cabinetry?

This is the cabinet colour, but remember I will have a large window over the machines and also a window in the entry door. I imagine I will have white walls and off white counters like this room does.

Black cabinets would look good with the same Snow Fall white from the kitchen on the walls. Or use a black chalkboard paint on the walls with white cabinets if there is not a lot of wall space. Even with 2 windows I would make white the main color and use black for accents. Chalkboards would add decor and be practical for a mudroom entry.

You meant black cabinetry? I thought you meant black walls. Either would be nice, I'm sure. White appliances with black cabinetry would look great. Google it to see examples.

I used BM Baby Seal Black on the walls in my laundry/mud room and the attached powder room. I've no windows in either but my lighting game, after the lamp shades were added, is now A+. Also have a sideboard in there and use as a folding table and storage. Everyone enters my house thru the garage so I wanted to make it different.

With window there, if this matters - white appliances, compared to other whites nearby would seem likely to look a bit different.... what about medium-toned [grey?] counters...

Black cabinets in a laundry room? With all the dust, dirt, hair, dead skin flakes in dirty laundry and lint from clean laundry? That's going to be a whole lot of dusting.

Thanks everyone I think you're absolutely right. Might look nice initially but a lot of upkeep and plus I might get tired of it. I'm going with white to match the kitchen since it's right next to it, and I'll be creative with flooring, etc. Love this site, thanks!!!
