Your cactus is a Mammillaria microhelia and I have seen that pinkish base before on other Mammillaria. Idk what causes it, but doubt there’s anything to worry about.

The top of your cactus is getting thinner and that’s why it’s curving. Needs stronger light, if you’re able too slowly acclimate to more sun.

When you do repot the pot should have a drainage hole and the cactus mix is fast draining. Amending the cactus mix with perlite will really help with drainage. You can find perlite at places like Lowes or Home Depot. It’s cheap;).

After repotting wait a week to water. Only water when the mix is thoroughly dry. Goodluck:).

Pink base is normal on a lot of mams i think. Probably ones with large tubercules..

No, you do not need to remove the pups. Just replant it back in the cup. Poke a couple holes in the bottom of the cup if it does not have them. Definitely needs a lot more light. When you water, water thoroughly until it runs out the holes, then not again until it’s dry. No squirt bottle needed.
