Kitchen Configuration

Hello all,

My house has a little bit of a strange lay out. I don't think it's that uncommon but I've had trouble finding it online so I can't get an inspiration except for what I've build with some sketch tools. Does anyone have any experience or links to share with me? The main thing is that it's a split L-Shape or a semi-single wall kitchen lol. Like I said, it's kind of different.

Some Items I've been considering for my remodel plans:

- Back wall is ~26' and the fridge/cabinet under the stairs is 6 feet long

- The stair corner sticks out so I have to consider this when placing my island

- The kitchen nook is off to the left and has a sliding door to our patio (bay window)

- The Kitchen Nook is 13' X 3' bay area

- I'd like to move the stove out from behind the stairs

- i don't like the stove on the island

- I'd like to make the Island as big as possible

Any pictures or layout ideas are very welcomed!

People can more easily give you advice if you provide a to-scale-layout of the space.

Budget is important. the stove against the back wall allows proper venting to the outside . that is a plus. the fridge corner and depth of that unit is making a pinchpoint for that cooking zone . the fridge style/size and location can be shifted and that will change everything. Placing a new fridge to the right on that 6 ft wall allows a couple feet to the left where you can install counter and perhaps ? wrap it around the alcove around to the range. Range can possibly be shifted to the left, dishwasher to left of sink/etc......But dimensions are needed. The island can be squared or rotated the other way, pushed back to allow fridge access , and it's width/length altered...again dimensions are needed. It would be nice to know the dimensions of floorspace around the island to see how much of an "island kitchen " design is possible.

Hand drawn is totally fine. Just be sure to include all dimensions (window size, & height from floor)

A sketch (not to scale) of the surrounding house is helpful too
