Hi Houzzers,

I am replacing 50 year-old garage doors and need design advice. The house is a 1969 split-level that we have dutifully upgraded over the 20 years we used it as a vacation home. Now, it is our only home and while I have upgraded the interior and the HVAC and electrical, I have not done much with the exterior (except paint and patio stonework uogrades.) I want to replace the garage doors with better quality (but not too expensive) and the front door, which I have never loved but tolerated after we painted it a bright shiny red. I have chosen to go with a 13R steel door from Raynor. The advice I seek is on how modern or traditional to go given the house's limitations. Here are some photos of design styles I like. I would have them painted to match the house trim, I think. Anyone want to weigh in?
