spinach seedling temps?

I'll be growing spinach this fall/winter/spring. Now, my lights are in a converted garage, where the temps can be 85F for a few months. I *know* that spinach seeds won't germinate in those temps. Can I germinate in the house where it is cooler, and put the seedlings under lights at 85F? As in, as soon as they pop up, they go under lights in heat? This is a bit crazy because EVERYTHING else loves those warm temperatures as seedlings. That is, do spinach seedlings croak at 85F? It will be cooler by the time they are larger, planted out, and ready to bolt.
