63 degrees and overnight light rain

hostas look best after a rain.

August lilies look best in August but are still looking good on Sept 01.

August lilies are the common name for the Plantagenia hosta. Called August lilies because they bloom in August, Duh!

I used to think Plantagenia was always kind of limey green until I split them and planted one in mostly in shade. The mostly shaded ones are all green. They do tolerate sun fairly well.

Photo taken with my old Kodak.

The hosta in the above bottom right corner is Stained Glass, my all time favorite hosta that will, guaranteed, brighten up any corner of a garden.

The grandpa cat (17 years old) photo got in here inadvertently and if I could figure out how to delete that photo maybe I would. But I can't so I didn't.
