Here is the photo that didn't post for an unknown reason. Stained Glass is bottom right corner. I have 7 Stained Glass from my original one from 6 years ago as it is a fast grower and I split often. There are actually 2 in the bottom right corner but one is much smaller I attribute to a very tough winter. Then is one leaf of another in the top left corner.

Called August lilies because they bloom in August, Duh!

===>> one might argue.. they were called lilies.. because they also smell like to old standard Easter lilies ... trumpet lily ....

but they bloom so far apart.. i never directly compared them ...

dj, it befuddles me why your Stained Glass didn't make it. Mine grow prodigiously in many locations, even under the redbud under the Norway maple where the tree roots kill other hostas.

Next to the SG is a L. Dragonfly. Here is a photo of L.Dragonfly next to my Wolverine.

Well djacob is not the only one. My Stained Glass was just starting to look half way decent when it did not come up the following year. It was not disturbed by critters digging and every other Hosta around it looked perfect. It was really odd.

I like everything that looks good this late in the season. Can not say that I care about smells that much.

Stained glass does wonderfully here too, I got Etched glass to add to collection this year.

thanks gardencool......mine dropped in size first.....then the next year I only had little pips with quarter Sized leaves all around in a circle. I don’t divide hostas much, lack of real estate, but is SG one that should be?

Lindalana, I did not know there was a collection of Glasses.......

My SG's are also sputtering the last few years, wondering if they need the driveway treatment every so often?
