Sun Power (with some abiotic leaf scorch)

Sun Power at the Rotary Botanic Garden, Janesville, WI. Two more feet to the north and 'voila', no sun scorch. Either way, it was a handsome contrast to the foliage around it.

I t also shows how differently the hosta can look in different conditions. Same with my paradigm. Part sun side very bright colored and the shade side is darker colored. The darker leaves are under the shade. The difference in the coloration was even more distinctive earlier in the summer. I took this today.

Yep, that looks like what happens to my Sun Power sometime in July. With a name like Sun Power, I wish it was a little tougher in the sun. :-)

Very pretty Sun Power.

djacobz, it's cool to see different hosta coloration on one hosta! Talking about Paradigm---I've had it for several years but never found it that great. I moved Paradigm last year into a location with more sun. Now I am beginning to love it.

I have always loved paradigm even when it was completely shaded. This year it has more sun to limb loss, and I realize it is beautiful I the sun too!
