We are painting a 4,000 sq ft house in southern Florida all the same color. The main room when you walk through the front door is 16 high. The bedrooms are 9 ft. Our designer is suggesting to paint the ceilings and the walls all the same color - Benjamin Moore Designer White. Does that make sense? I have always painted my ceilings a white - Atrium White and the trim and doors Dove White. My walls in the past have been Sheep's Wool 857 which is a light gray. My tile throughout the house is a white with gray lines through it. The kitchen and bar cabinets are a shiny modern gray. I am an accountant and NOT a designer but am questioning what I am being told. Said the ceiling will fade away and we can use art etc to add color to the house.
