Lol, sorry. I want my shower to have glass doors and if possible, I would like to extend it out a little further. I want to replace the floor with tile, preferably, but am not sure which type would give me the best bang for my buck. I want the vanity/cabinets/counter to be replaced with a darker wood one, maybe an expresso color tone with vessel sinks on top or at a minimum, undermounted sinks. Right now I have the sink that is bulit into the counter top and I don't like that. I want to tile some walls and add a a glass tile backsplash as well. Where should I add the tile without doing the whole room? I was thinking the wall behind the tub where the striped wall paper is would be a good place to add that but then it would probably clash with those ice cube window, which is outdated in my opinion but cannot afford to rip it out. I know its a lot. :) I will post some inspiration pics too.

There are elements about all of these that I like. I like the gray paint color with the dark wood in the first pic. In the 2nd pic, I like the natural stacked stone look. In the last pic, I love the shiny glass tile!

Yes, I want a bigger shower pan because I feel cramped in my shower currently. I would definitely like to open up that shower wall. Wonder how much more expensive that would be because of the pipes. The pipes would probably have to be rerouted. The bathroom is dark right now because I took the pic at night. The glass cube window brings in a lot of light and I also have a small window in the room with the toilet. (Water closet, I think it's called) You mentioned using the shimmery tile as the tub splash. Where would you put it exactly around the tub? Do you think it would be too much to use on the entire wall where the striped wall paper is in my picture? Would it class with the glass cube window right next to it? The vanity doesn't necessarily have to be floating, but I am open to that idea. Maybe a floating vanity will create the illusion of more openness, but I would storage space. I really like your idea of framing the window with the matching wood from the cabinets. Never thought of that!! Thank you for all of your suggestions. Loved your ideas.

@River Valley...yes, I did argue with you....lol...tile is easy when you do not have to worry about the water. A shower is not easy...a wall for a back splash easy. 90% of tiling is the prep work so when you do not need to worry about water draining, a shower head blasting water everywhere or water sitting on grout that has been done incorrectly you can be a beginner.

River Valley, So I've been thinking. These glass blocks are really starting to get on my nerve because they are limiting what I can do. What if I (1) Get a frosted glass insert and put it over the glass tile, still letting light in and framing that out with the wood from cabinet. OR (2) Cover the glass blocks with sheet rock leaving the top first row of blocks out which will let some light in. OR (3) Cover the entire window with sheet rock. As long as the finishes aren't super dark, bathrooms do fine without windows, right? What do you think.

Maybe some frosted glass like this vanity countertop?

I LOVE the "California Cool in the Castro-Bathroom" photo posted by @Kelly. I could for sure see that being done in your space where the stripes currently are and in front of the tub surround as well in the shiny/iridescent style of your 4th inspiration pic. I think a soothing shiny/gray/white bathroom would be very calming and modern, especially with all the light that pours through those glass tiles by the tub (which I actually like a lot!) Good luck!
