I would like to add that the last photo on that list looks a lot like campsis radicans to me. I have some in my yard, and it pops up far away from the main plant - grows like a weed here.

You can't post to it if you enter the website via GardenWeb. If you enter with Houzz, you can :-) Why the differentiation, I have no idea, but it is a stupid forum (has been since it was started), there has been no "yard doctor" since early on so stagnant for months on end and the "doctor" came with no qualifications to assume that position anyway. It's almost like one was intended to assume that whoever responded - the "doctor' - was more qualified to answer these questions than anyone else, which is nonsense! There are a bunch of extremely knowledgeable participants on a wide range of forum topics that will handily answer virtually any question that comes their way!!

Both that specific forum....and the unnecessary and confusing cross-posting/forum tagging....are features that should be deleted from both platforms.

I settled on Ampelopsis arborea because it's doubly pinnate which Campus radicans isn't.

Thanks, Floral. I tend to post only on the Florida Gardening forum and am not familiar with all the other forums out there. I tagged Ask the Yard Doctor and Garden Clinic because Houzz asks you to cross post comments and after looking at the list of all the forums, those two seemed to make sense for a cross post. Gardengal also suggested posting on the Name that plant forum, so I will do that. Thanks again!

I'm not sure where you are, but the local coop extension service is usually very helpful to gardeners. Mounts Botanical Garden has master gardeners available at the front desk to help ID plants. (Call first for hours) I didn't notice any poison ivy in your photos, but it can be tricky to spot because it looks different growing in the sun than in the shade. The vine itself is distinctive. The poison ivy that grows in my yard is larger than anything in your photos (not shrub like, but a vine and the leaves are the color of the dark green leaves of the vine shown growing along the rock.(not sure which photo) I usually find poison ivy growing up the pine trees.

Pix 1 and 4 clearly show Poison Ivy. (1 and 3 on the latest duplicate post on Name that Plant.)The NTP Forum here on Gardenweb is an excellent means of identifying plants in a short time, occasionally within minutes, without leaving the house.

Poison ivy has a rather variable appearance and growth habit. It can be a shrub of as much as 4' tall, a lower growing groundcover, a spreading, ground hugging vine or a tree climbing vine but all develop woody stems. Leaves can be entire (smooth edged), lightly toothed/serrated or even partially lobed. But it always presents with leaves in clusters of three, on their own stem/petiole and arranged along the vine/branch alternately. And no thorns :-)
