that is such an interesting idea!! I like it. I am not sure how to drape it since it is set back and the ceiling is angled right there - would that have to be custom? I haven't started building the headboard yet, just have all the wood for it. I would use woven wood roman shades, with lining, on the windows to give the room some texture and keep the natural feel of the room. I would also avoid using such bland colors on the bedding - that is your opportunity to put some personality into the space since the rest of the room is so neutral. Use any color that makes you happy.

You got lost in the shuffle, but I wanted to respond about the drapery wall. You can block the window with luan, thin insulation, or another light-blocking item. No one will really see it anyway and you won't get light leakage through the drapes. Cut and hem the drapery to fit the shape of the space there, and staple it to the wall. A professional job would make you happiest. Check with a local upholsterer or carpenter and see. Your headboards look like some I envisioned for our vacation rental cabin; made of old pallet wood. They'd be perfect with buffalo check.
