Garage Door Remote Limits??? Overhead Legacy

We have an Overhead Legacy Model 696CD/B. We currently have 2 cars programmed and 2 additional hand held remotes. We can't seem to program a 5th remote. Yes we need at least 5 with 4 drivers and 6 cars. I can't find anywhere that says what our limit is or if we can increase it somehow...does anyone know or know where I can find this information? Manual does not state a limit or how to increase it.

If I had to guess, possibly faulty remote. I don't see how there could be a limit on how many remotes.

I currently have 4 cars and the key pad programmed to mine. It definitely seems their is a limit on remotes for this model. Did you ever find your answer?

While I didn't find an answer, four seems to be correct based on my anecdotal evidence. I had four and when I programmed a fifth, one of the others stopped working. When I reprogrammed that one, another of the originals stopped working. I think it drops to the "oldest" one to make room for the newest.
