Manufactured shingles...do they really look like the real thing?

Are there any manufactured shingles that look like real cedar shingles? Or can you always tell that they are fake

I contacted Nichiha and the salesperson was beyond rude and told me they don't sell to my area(Ohio).

NuCedar sent me a sample and it was so realistic, but it will cost you over double the amount compared to other fiber cement products.

Look at nichiha . I think they look pretty good.

Pretty sure natural shingles are manufactured...I've never seen a shingle tree!

I got a sample of Nucedar and it looks real. I really want to use it but I figure it would be expensive

Its important to find a simulated shingle that can wrap around the corners. I doubt they will be any cheaper than stained white cedar shingles. Perhaps Shakertown real cedar shingles in panels?
