I am just finishing the hand sewing on the baby quilt, next will be the label.

We are having a Choir Luncheon on the 18th and I usually have some little take-away for the members. This year, I am thinking a small drawstring bag filled with Hershey's kisses. I have lots of Christmas bits and pieces I can use.

Beyond that I have no plans.

If I finish both toddler quilts and the BOM, I'll be very happy. I just found out a friend has cancer, so I'll start thinking about a throw for her, but no quilting for Christmas.

The only project I would like to complete before Christmas is the Crossroads quilt I plan to give my niece for her wedding in April. I won't be able to quilt it after we leave on December 26 for the winter, so I need to get it done pronto. I don't have any Christmas projects that need doing. This is such a busy time of year. I have a lot of volunteer work in the next month; our chorus concert will be in early December; we're hosting Thanksgiving; we're trying to plan a trip to Ireland and Scotland for next fall. It turned so cold here so fast, that we have a whole yard full of leaves yet. A week ago, the leaves were still in the trees. Today, it snowed a little, and the temp is in the 30s. I hope we can get some of them picked up tomorrow.

Theresa, I love your idea of the little drawstring bags with Hershey kisses in them. I have some little bags with flamingos on them I might do something like that with for stockings. I need to be careful not to buy the candy too soon or my Geezerman will find them. lol

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, Bev. That horrid disease has taken too many of our loved ones. I hope your friend has good treatment results.

Lois, You're staying on the mainland this winter? I think Kate and Sue have both been to Ireland/Scotland so you can probably get some tips of what to not miss seeing (eating) and what to not bother with. Or, will you be going with a tour group? With all you have going on, it's a good thing you only have the wedding project to think about. I have one, too. Not til August, though. :-)

I'd just be happy to get into my sewing room for an hour or two. I'm 2 months behind on BOM and my project pile is sizable. Work is really starting to wear me down :-(

I would like to finish the king size quilt that I finally loaded on the frame last weekend. I have yet to actually do any quilting on it, though! Maybe I'll start tonight while hubby is at choir practice.

I'm also two months behind on the BOM, so those blocks will be next up after the quilt is done.

We don't do much Christmas any more, either. Between working full time and extra musical activities for the season, there isn't much time left over!

The only thing on my list that is done are all the BOMs. I wonder if I turned up the heat so the house would be warmer if it would help get me out of my chair. I also wonder if that isn't just an excuse. I pulled fabric for BH's mystery but found I was short on the light teal. It's iffy if I'll start, but we shall see. Pulled some more fabric for little girl pillowcases.......Frozen. I like to give the little ones their gifts leading up to Christmas so they aren't so overwhelmed.

Here are 10 of the Heart BOMs I've been working on this year. The background fabric has flamingos on it. What's not to love, eh? That last one looks wonky but it's straight, I promise. :-) She started it in February, so there are 2 more blocks to make.

41 little bags done and filled with Kisses. There was no specific size for them but made according to how big the fabric pieces were. So some short, some tall.

I got to the LQS yesterday and bought the fabric for the second toddler quilt. Quickie pattern and I'm putting the borders on right now. I plan on glue basting one of them tonight. I really have to finish them by next weekend to be able to take on Thanksgiving.
