Does anyone have Samsung Tuscan Stainless Appliances

I’m considering Samsung Tuscan stainless steel appliances. Has anyone tried them yet? I’d love to see photos!

Of course I’ll be upgrading the warranty. I haven’t heard great things about their fridges but can’t get over the sleek gas range!

Buying an untraditional color for your appliances means that when the color is discontinued and your dishwasher dies, you’ll have mismatched appliances - or if it’s not discontinued, you’ll be stuck buying from the same company again whether you liked the appliance or not. It’s not a great choice in the long term.

Thanks for reminding me of that! Black stainless is too shiny for me and the regular stainless shows smudges constantly. The struggle!

Smudges on stainless is part of the charm ... shows that the appliances are used and loved. :-)

IMO no maker makes all appliances well that is why you should stick with plain old stainless and choose appliances for how you cook. Chances are when time comes to replace they will no longer do that color. Cleaning stainless is the easiest thing in the world I have a ton of stainless in my kitchen even some stainless drawer cabinets 5 minutes and they are all sparkling clean micro fiber cloth hot water a touch of vinegar wipe in direction of the grain all the stainless cleaners are oily and collect dust and finger prints forget them . Go to a good appliance store ideally one that does demos on the weekends and take time to choose wisly this is a big expense and worth time to analyse what you need.

You don’t have to go so far back as Harvest Gold of the 1960s. How about the 2006 color of oiled bronze? People leaped on this; it was new and different. It seemed the height of kitchen chic at the time. This linked article says it is an Instant Classic! Gone In 2013.

Did you buy them? I am thinking of buying a gas range myself and would love to see pictures if you did.

I just received my tuscan fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. I like the color. Its classy and modern. The fridge has no handles as does the microwave and dishwasher. It makes the area feel bigger. I like that it still has a bit of silver stainless that ties in my small appliances that I keep out on the counters everyday. It isn't as fingerprint resistant as I'd like but I'm still happy.

Help! I purchased the tuscan appliances and a matching brown sink. I have light cabinets with maple glaze being installed in 2 weeks. I thought I wanted a dark floor but now I'm second guessing myself as my kitchen is VERY small. This is my 1st remodel ever and took me a long time to save up for it. Opinion s on the floor? I was thinking I wanted some sort of rustic farmhouse look but now I'm not sure. Here is a pic of my cabinet.

We just ordered the Samsung Tuscan appliance package. I've been second guessing myself since but they looked so beautiful in the store. Just arrived and they are quite a bit larger then the appliances we had so we had to get the cabinet depth fridge and will need to move the cabinet and countertop remodel up. The one thing I'm having trouble deciding is the hardware. There are literally 3 pictures online with the tuscan appliances so not a lot of inspiration lol. I will post pictures once we get the counters done.

My refrigerator is by the wall and a very tiny part of handle got scratched up. It’s really bothering me. Anyone know of a way to touch it up?

I like that it has a hint of brown. And with respect to Harvest Gold, it is becoming one of the top custom paint colors for the new high-end European style colors. I would have jumped on oiled bronze myself.

I fell in love with the color., but after a year, am regretting my purchase. If you are cooking on the stovetop with the exhaust fan on, all is well unless you turn the microwave on. The exhaust fan automatically turns to low when the microwave is turned on and does not resume to high when it turns off. Another issue is the stove knobs. If you barely lean into them they turn on. You can lock the oven so it can’t be turned on accidently , but not the stove. I have on 2 occasions turned my oven off by accident. Once while cooking a turkey for Christmas Eve. Luckily Publix was still open and I sent my husband to pick up rotesseri chicken. The timer can only be heard (barely) if you are standing at the stove.

socksandbelle - which brand appliances are you talking about?

It is best to measure the space you need for appliances before purchasing, even the handle placement can be a disaster.

I purchased Tuscan Stainless two years ago and I still absolutely love them. The microwave is a fingerprint magnet but the fridge, stove and dishwasher are great at not showing fingerprints. I decorate my home for me, for what I like and what makes me happy, so I'm not even a little worried about what is or isn't in style. My fridge died after a year but I had purchased the extended warranty and it is now fixed and running great. If this color appliance fits with your color scheme and you like it, then I'd say go for it and enjoy.

I just purchased the Tuscan Stove. I'm cooking on it for the first time today. I LOVE IT!!!!

I have been waiting for my Bosch black stainless stove for 6 months, should have ordered the Samsung Tuscan

Be glad you did not order the tuscan- They are no longer making that color and my refrigerator went bad. I only had it about 3 months. That is after waiting four months for it to arrive.

I have been arguing with them for an additional few months to replace it.. basically they told me to pound sand and it is my problem.

after purchasing the entire kitchen package- I am so disappointed and would NEVER purchase another Samsung product

"Be glad you did not order the tuscan- They are no longer making that color"

@hu-936937291 - the same as my comment near the top of this thread 2 years ago about Jenn-Aire's oiled bronze.

But actually they are still making that color-

Unfortunately, they have now discontinued the color and I am still waiting for mine to be delivered to our new house. Thinking of returning them the minute they arrive.

First you never buy all applainces from one maker there is no maker that makes everything well That is why IMO plain old stainless is still the best finish for appliances then you get the right appliance for how you cook not some pkg deal

I love it. had it for 3 years already!

Well, 3 years IS about the lifespan.

Carol Fink what color is your sink and faucet? is that a oiled bronze or dark copper?

  • last year

These places need to start making more color options. I don't care for black, I don't like white and I absolutely detest stainless. I would take the Copper of the 70's any day, and I would be perfectly happy with green or gold. But no. Just like cars, everything has become boring.

  • last year

Three years should not be the lifespan of any appliance. I'm about to replace a 30 year old fridge and the new one better last longer that three years.

These places need to start offering more color options. I don't care for black, I don't like white and I absolutely detest stainless. I would be happy with the copper color in my aunt's kitchen from the 70's. Those Kenmore appliances are still working. I would also be OK with green or gold. Stainless is for those without imagination or an artist's eye. I'm trying to replace my 30 year old fridge with something that fits in the 30x31 space. Good luck. I would prefer black stainless of all the non-color options available, but very few fridges come in anything but silver. Yuck.

“…and the new one better last longer that three years.”

It likely will but don’t expect 30 years. Reality is appliances today are far from what they used to be. I

This is the 2nd model that burns out. It turned itself on/off and must have overheated to the touch while off all morning. They don't last long apparently ask Google it's not an isolated commentary.
