Is this a view of the back of your home or the front? You said "face" of the house but I don't see a front door or entry. What is your goal in drawing attention to the white gable ends?

Looks like three separate areas were combined. House on right, breezeway (which was enclosed), and garage or new addition.

I can’t even tell which is the front or is this back to me this looks like a poorly designed addition and without seeing the house who knows The landscaping would be my first thing to tackle it overwhelms all the house you don’t even see the white peaks.

Whatever you do, different siding, etc. on the gables needs to be placed on all of them to help tie the different pieces of the house together. You could do siding, wood or wood look shingles, board and batten, etc. I would also look at painting all the siding the same color. The majority of the landscaping is overly large and should be replaced. I won't even suggest that you trim some of it back since it's so large that this is probably not even an option. If you're interested in seeing some options take a look at my web site Creative Visual Concepts. I can show you how different treatments could look.

What are your goals? Are you selling or wanting a new look?

I guess if the front door defines front of the house this would be the side view facing south . We love the additions and the color in our view gives home unique eclectic look. Also love the landscape and trust me keeping it groomed even to this standard is very difficult lol. Guess just looking for new look from my perspective the white peaks appear boring . Thx for all your feedback and still looking for ideas ?

Since you like the way most of it looks, instead of changing things, I suggest a fresh coat of semi-gloss white paint for the white peaks. Then trim the tree branches just a bit on the big tree to the right in the photo. If you want to bring down the shrubs gradually to show off the peaks more, a foot or two of trimming would look good. Check with the local garden center to see if the shrubs can be sheared or will have to be trimmed by hand.

If you are considering adding a medallion, consider a wood star on the largest white gable. There are other decorative geometric elements that could be added. Painted wood would look better than metal.

If you introduced a dark gray for the white siding, but kept the trim and the fascia white and the lower siding yellow it would set off the peaks and tie the house together left to right. Something like SW 7074 Software. Agree with #apple_pie_order that some tree and shrub trimming would help the look - it is amazing how fast shrubs grow when you aren't watching!

Margaret T thx just a note some of the landscape does offer privacy.

I think the peaks of your house look disjointed because that's all you see above the overgrown shrubbery. I would remove the shrubs, they are way too big to save, and perhaps paint the house a single colour to tie all the different parts together. The current 2-tone colour makes your house look very choppy...

You don't landscape with big behemoth shrubs that cover your windows. What privacy is required.? It looks as though there's not a home around for a mile.
