One thing you could do is float the bed away from the wall.

Depending on your layout/budget/desires, you could build a fireplace in the center, to enjoy from different angles.

We have a big master, and I've always thought of building out a wall to create either a long closet, or storage of some kind. Built ins, I guess. Window seat...storage...create a dressing area

Pictures or floor plans would help with much more specific with suggestions...my first thought was more closet space...but maybe you already have a huge walk-in?

At the very least provide a picture or four, and better yet add a drawing with the actual dimensions for the entire bedroom. Doors, windows, ALL of it. Otherwise, no help shall be forthcoming.

Curious, why would there be "clutter" in a sitting area, unless you put the clutter in the sitting area ?
