Question for HVAC experts

Sorry for the crappy drawing...the door opens up to a second floor bedroom. Currently there is an air return vent on the wall behind the door (marked in red). The vent is low on the wall, so when the door is open (almost always) the door covers the vent. I’ve read that you’re not supposed to place furniture in front of air returns as it restricts the air from being pulled in. Therefore I want to raise the vent higher than the top of the door to avoid this. The problem is, just outside the room in the hallway there is another air return vent (marked in green). That one is currently high on the wall. Is it a problem to have 2 returns so close to each other (both being high)? If I raise the bedroom vent, should I then lower the hallway vent? Thank you
