Bertazzoni kitchen Appliances

Hello!
Please share your experience with Bertazzoni kitchen appliance. How are the products? How is their service? Have you encountered any issues with these? Was it resolved and if parts were easier to find and service was prompt? Would you recommend it?

Also our budget is around 12-14k. Any other brand that would recommend in this price range?

Thank You!

I have a 30" Bertazzoni range that is probably 8-9 years old. I love it. I chose it because I had dealt with too many repairs on touch pads on cheaper appliances (Amana range and previously a GE wall oven in a diff house). The Bert had no ICs, it was all knobs and solenoids and simple electronics. And I could operate the burners during a power outage (but not the oven).

There are downsides - the oven does not go below 275. There is no preheat cycle or self clean cycle. If you're wondering if it is up to temp, I use an IR thermometer to do a quick check.

Current BF jokes that he stays with me because of my stove (he does a lot of the cooking). When I renovated the kitchen this year two friends asked if they could place dibs on my stove (thinking I might get a new one). I think it is a great product for the money.

You might check Consumer Reports review of this range. They reviewed this stove and the Italian Verona. I was wondering this same thing yesterday and came across their review.

I have a 36” about the same age as @Pam A’s. Agree entirely with her post. Very happy with mine. I don’t miss any of the “features” of other stoves, but I prefer an analog cooking experience. Plus, it’s beautiful.

I've had the 36" 6 burner Professional rangetop for 2 years. I really like it. I haven't had any issues with mine. Our local Ferguson dealer had the range as a display to see.

I agree with Patricia about not needing to stick with one brand. Each of my appliances are different brands in stainless steel and they go together just fine.

Just looking at fit and finish of DWs, Bertazzoni was no comparison to Miele--edges of the doors are smoother, racks slide more easily, etc. Of course that doesn't mean they don't work well.

I have the Bertazzoni Master Series 36" induction range. I have only had it a few months but I love it. The induction is amazing and the oven is huge. Low temperature on the oven goes down to 150. It has both types of self cleaning, steam and pyro. I only use the steam clean and it cleans up easily. I picked this because it had the extra large oven and knobs as opposed to electronic slides or buttons. It comes with on set of telescopic slides but I ordered a second set. I had a few questions so I called Bertazzoni and their customer service was very helpful. I will say it bakes amazingly even.

I purchased a dual fuel model in March. We had an initial problem with some wiring but the repairs were made within days. Since then, I couldn’t be happier. It cooks and bakes like a dream. Unlike the older models, the new ones have lower oven temps including dehydrate and proofing. You must purchase a dual fuel range version to have self clean. It’s been a great purchase.

Have you looked into Blue Star?

Help. I have 30" Prof Dual Fuel. I had the wiring problems too (like cryslunsford), but my oven remained faulty after the repair. Basically the oven will not go to the correct temperature I set it at. And then when it gets to "some" temperature, I can't set it to a new temperature. Any one else having problems like this? Bertazzoni agreed to replace, but I'm, concerned I will have the same problems again. Model number is PROF304DFSXT. Anyone have experience with this particular model number? Thanks.

@Joe D That is the same model I have. When our technicians replaced the electrical unit they said sometimes the wiring becomes loose when the oven is shipped/ installed. I haven't had an issue at all with mine post repair. Note that is does take considerably longer to heat to the correct temperature, I do not rely on the oven thermometer beep to tell me the temp is correct. I use an internal added thermometer. Convection heats to the correct temp I set it at but Bake usually is off by up to 25 degrees. This is not all that uncommon which is why I always have an added thermometer inside. That said, I have no problem adjusting the temperature, unlike your issue. Have it replaced asap under warranty. Despite initial issues I truly love this oven and I have a baking business so precision is important to me. Once you get it working properly, I think you will be pleased with the results. Don't despair.

There’s a very long bertazzoni thread that you might want to check out. Not glowing reviews on the whole.
Regardless of what oven you choose you absolutely should avoid going all one brand just for looks. Especially since given the ridiculously short lifespan of most appliances these days, you won’t having a matching set for very long.

Not been great experience for us with our 2019 oven.

Just a quick update, we've had our Bertazzoni Master Series 36" induction range for over a year now and still love it. It has been used extensively since COVID hit and we have had no issues.

    Molly Schaffer, can you elaborate?
