Opinion on chair & rug

The picture below is my new couch & chair I just purchased & love! I have a coffee table & two side tables ordered. They are black with mirror tops. I am still hunting for another chair (that's a different color) & a rug. I really like these two I have posted. What are your thoughts? Also, what color would you paint the walls?

    Love the area rug! I would do chairs that don't have tufting so they don't look matchy-matchy.
