I've not seen any sinks successfully re-porcelanized.

We have one of those sinks. I’m thinking about refurbishing. Have you had any success with yours?

We have one- tough to find anything like it. We sanded and repainted exterior with appliance paint. It's been in the same spot 66 years and has some life scuffs. A tho

rough cleaning and some sanding will tell you if the rust is structural or just looks bad. As long as the tub is intact you should be ok. You may need to repair or replace the faucet. These units were sold by Sears and often used with soap saver washing machines.

Here is mine. Fully restored with new faucet and powder coated cabinet.

Homart laundry sinks by Sears are collectable and fully restored can fetch some extravagant prices.

The sinks had a lid that allowed soaking clothes to be covered with a surface you could use to fold clothes, etc. There was also a storage drawer built-in below the actual sink. It was made with the idea of cramming a lot of functionality into a smallish footprint.

Restoration is not hat hard using powder coatings. Here's one restored by Hepcat Restorations to match the vintage washer/dryer Did a nice job.

They are had to find with lids. The lids always seem to have disappeared. If OP has a Homart with a lid, she has a real treasure definitely worth restoring. Without the lid, not as valuable, but still worth resurrecting.

It's even more valuable if OP can find an original Homart faucet to go with.
