I feel like that front door should be the same color as the garage door, or at least a darker color. The house is very much a midcentury modern ranch, so you should probably embrace the style rather than fight it. I found a couple front door looks. I’ll keep looking...

i'd prob stucco and do wood slat like this

maybe you could paint the brick black or dark charcoal and bring in cedar siding. black trim around the windows, wood or glass garage door

Two things I’d do: Paint the downspouts to blend in, and Completely remove the short brick wall in front of the front door.

Some great ideas! Will clean up/remove landscaping in the front. Good thought on the downspouts - I'm thinking copper rain chains. And my contractor and I agree that the short wall has to go but what to replace it with? I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to add a modern awning. Also maybe board and batt over the brick? The inside will be "Scandinavian Modern".

I would go with modern overhung portico with the deck all the way to the right side, replacing existing gable roof. Correct me if I am wrong please. If not with modern then with something proper.
