I wouldn’t want to have to skirt a closet, then stairs, then a kitchen island (and probably stools?) to get to the family room. If you enter the side door, and I expect the family typically would, it’s still kind of convoluted to get to the bedrooms.

I can not think of a site that would justify such a bad design.

Perfect for a long narrow lot especially at the lake with the porches and patio....love the rooms to the back divided with their own bathrooms...perfect for grown kids and their family....kids can be upstairs if need be.

I love this house plan! I don’t understand the criticisms. We are considering building next year and this is one of the plans we are considering. We would make some small changes to the plan, more to enlarge rooms and make a large pantry/back kitchen directly behind the main kitchen wall and more functional mud room.
