Tile or wood baseboards?

Caulking where the tile meets the baseboard - no.

Generally baseboards are put in after the tile, so it's not necessary.

Tile floor. Wood basebords. Obviously the floor and tile isn’t 100 percent level. We have some spots with slight cracks

leave it it will look worse if you caulk it

Hey, less work for me! I’m fine with that. The reason I inquired was there seems to be a lot of articles that recommend top and bottom. They say to help keep dirt and water out if we spilled. Guess it’s another hotly debated topic with home remodeling. I’ve been learning that a lot lately as we do these projects haha.

Maybe put a shoe molding instead?

This is probably going to be unpopular. But after a few days of my pets hairs getting even into the cracks that seem to lay perfectly flat on the ground and lots of internet searching I did a small bead of caulking on the bottom. I do feel it looks more finished. But again maybe this was an unpopular choice even with pages and pages of google saying do it..

Well in your case, and for your reason, it sounds like a good thing to do.

That bit at the door needs doing also, it now looks unfinished.

Yeah I was going to go back and do the doors. I started to lose my mind with so much caulking. Needed a break haha
