Funny I was thinking of MamaP today. I didn't remember it was her birthday. I truly miss her funny, intelligent, and interesting posts. I wonder what she would be saying about all those cold water people in the light of today's crisis.

Mimi-Me too. I emailed with her several times and sent her special finds but never got the chance to meet her in person.

I am glad that I remember to thank her for helping me get my DH's clothes very clean without harsh detergents that he is allergic to. He went through a lifetime of half washed clothes or angry red welts. He was very appreciative too. Her small act of kindness made such a great impact. She always took the time to reply in a well-informed way and checked back to see how it was going. I think of her often too.

Sorry I missed this. I hope she was surrounded by great music and lots of celebrations.

I read your message as "steaming whites" and I pictured MamaPinky boiling her wash in a huge old stockpot to get it sparkling, which made me smile. I was reading a laundry thread yesterday that she'd commented on and was surprised at how it took my breath away. I completely agree about missing someone I never met; she was a big personality and a good, kind soul. I hope her family is doing OK. Thanks for remembering her birthday.
