Beautiful room! I’d go classic with white subway tile.

does your taj lean more golden/warmer tones, or does it have more grayish tones to it?

If you must go w/a white subway, don't do a standard 3x6 size. (haven't we had enough of the standard 3x6 white subway? your kitchen deserves more)

take a look at Encore Ceramics. they have some gorgeous tiles

you have a large open kitchen and need a longer tile. either a 3x9, 3x12 or 2x8. maybe something a little on the artisan side.

Does the countertop come in tile form? You could do that to match, and make it long subway like the above comment.
Otherwise cle tile has beautiful Moroccan tile that is beautiful and could add a nice glaze feel.
As long as you go neutral I don’t think you could go wrong!

Question for Beth H. I love the idea of a larger tile. The Encore matte tiles are beautiful. I am not stuck on a subway tile either. What shape would you suggest>
