Onion and peas should be okay, they can handle cold weather. Do the onions even have new growth yet? Better to be on the dry side when temps in the 30s.

I'm nearby you in Michigan. I think your peas and onions will be okay. They are quite cold hardy.

I'm afraid the almost blooming magnolia trees in our neighborhood will be damaged, though. :(

I was just noticing buds on my cherry tree starting to change to white/petal color. I don’t know when they become susceptible to freeze damage. I guess I’ll see.
