My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    I believe it is honed granite. It is seamed in a number of places, both for installation and for expansion. I would discuss your situation with the stone slab supplier, as I think you are correct to be cautious. Not all granite is the same.

    It is honed bluestone and will hold up to the harsh Chicago weather.Viking and Danver appliances. Other items include trash pull out and many storage drawers. Hursthouse landscape built this island.
