Powder room wall color help.

Hello, we will have a 5'x6' powder room with a black and white checkerboard tile floor, mirrored vanity with Carrara marble top and chrome Brizo faucet. The room has an east facing window. What would you suggest for the walls? Thanks.

What color is toilet, tub, etc?

For something understated, you could go with White Dove by BM which is a creamy greige and wont turn up yellow against the black and white checkered floor. Oxford White by BM could also work. If you're looking for colour, a dark blue like Hale Navy by BM will stand out or consider doing an accent wall!

How about wallpaper instead . I would love to see a pic of the space .

It's under construction now but I did find a cute pink wallpaper but I didn't want the appearance of a little girl's bathroom. I was also trying to find a deep green shade but they have looked too hunter or too teal. Then I toyed with a metallic charcoal. (10 ft ceilings).

I’d do wallpaper on all four walls. I love the background color of the wallpaper you posted, and the black and white will tie in with the floor. It doesn’t look at all like a pattern for a little girl’s bathroom. Could we see more of it?

A powder room is the perfect place to go bold with pattern/color.

The wallpaper pattern you selected is both playful and incredibly chic at the same time. The pattern will pack a major punch.

It’s beautiful. I like the pink best. Get a sample to make sure the color is representative. Your first impression when you look at it in person will tell you if it’s the one :)

I just realized that the first photo you posted of the wallpaper was probably a sample. If you aren’t sure if you like it, keep looking. If not wallpaper, a bold or dark color such as a deep blue with a decorative mirror and wall art would be nice too.

Your room is a perfect candidate for Benjamin Moore's Amazon Moss, or Cat's Eye. These greens would look great in a satin finish (a bit glossier than eggshell, but not too shiny. Either of these greens would be fantastic with the black and white tile floor and the marble. I would use warm brass /gold (vs. silver) finishes on the hardware, faucet, etc. Don't be afraid of the color being too dark! It will actually make it cozy, yet not feel any smaller.

Love the wallpaper. Order a sample and see how you like it in real life. It doesnt look like a little girls room wallpaper to me.
