I favor the birdhouses that are simple. Kyle's creation also provides whimsy.

We hope you guys enjoy our birdhouses! All were constructed during the quarantine downtime and using only found materials from our job sites. PBC has a nice project in the works on a heavily wooded property and since tree preservation is very important to our firm, all of these amazing pieces of art will have a permanent home, as well as some lucky birds!

I voted for Tim's "Minnie Pearl" house because he was the only one who mentioned the ability to clean the old nest out.

These are so cute. I actually love them all. Also it would be great to have a follow-up to find out if they get residents.

I voted for Kyles because the birds are already familiar with the materials used.

Dan's got my vote; I think it was the landscaping that won me over.

Dan's got my vote too because it integrates with the natural landscape

    My vote is for Kate's.
Many others, the hole size looked too big or small. Kate's was just right.
I hope all have been designed for seasonal maintenance in mind ( back door or rooftop clean outs).

I voted for Kelsey’s because I like how she “staged” it. It’s a starter home all ready for a new couple to grow their family. :0P

I love how the bird house mimics the apartment house behind it!

I liked Kyle's as going to be put in heavily wooded property it will fit right in and I like the rustic look. But they are all great and all deserve applause! Recycle and helping the animals is definitely a win win for everyone!

@Architectrunnerguy Your bird houses are amazing! As for the state the tenants leave the place in? That's common for musicians, but they provide such glorious music it's easily forgiven. :))

I voted for Sonya because hers was the only truly contemporary take on the design brief and because it has a retro caravan vibe. Nice work.

If someone made a mid century modern birdhouse I would vote for it!

When we investigated making birdhouses we learned a couple things - the hole needs to be just large enough for the local small song birds, too large and they don't think it is safe. Also, no peg on the outside to sit on - makes it easy for tree climbing mammals (or snakes) to grab the eggs, or eat the babies, Yikes! So I thought Will's looked like a song bird would think it the perfect home.

love kyle's house, only concern is the metal perch...not bird-safe in wet freezing weather, their feet actually get stuck
