I have tried and tried to root roses.... I get one every once in awhile. I have tried several things including the burrito wrap, but I haven't had good luck. In fact, I have had better luck just having a cutting start in water..... BUT this is the FIRST time I tried this... I had started some geraniums in the little jiffy disks that you add water to and they swell up and then add you seeds... I had one that the seeds did not take so when I was doing my cuttings I put some in their pot with their potting mix and I took one and reused my jiffy disk.... none of my cuttings in the pots took but the one in the jiffy disk did.... I actually roots growing out of the disk so I will have to put him in an actual pot in the next day or so....

So, has anybody ever used the little disks.... I am wondering why it took... was it just a fluke...
