First floor office layout help

Hi everyone, I have a design dilemma I would appreciate input on - how to configure my home office.
The room is approx 9'9" x 14'4", with french doors opening from my main hallway. My issue is I want it to be beautiful yet also functional. I'm looking at getting built ins around the window.
I've attached 2 layouts I'm considering. I'm also considering just building the library around the window and buying a freestanding desk, however I'm struggling with how a floating desk can be also be practical with a large monitor.
