Hello All. We are building a house. Our master closet is at the end of the master bath. And one of the additional baths share a wall with the extra bedroom.

We noticed that there is a piece of pipe extending into the master closet and the closet of the extra bedroom.

As per the builder, this is to flush out anything that gets stuck. We were not satisfied with the explanation, since we have not noticed such outlets in the other closets or even in the other model/inventory homes. All they said was that different houses have different plumbing, which was weird since they were not there in the inventory houses with the same plan we chose.

Could someone pls help us understand what this extension is exactly for and why it is in the closet.
