Show the HOA Board a picture of Lime Washed Brick They may have an idea of painted brick, but the lime wash is guaranteed not to peel off like paint.

Maybe if they get the full effect with the black windows and lime-washed brick they will understand the concept. Appeal to the idea that it's their job to protect the property values of the community up and they should expect that houses will need to be remodeled with updates.

BTW I would lime wash the stone at the same time.

I think that the normal bricks look nice, but that painting some or all of the parts white would look great too

While I like your brick, pairing it with stone is challenging. I like Beverly's suggestion since lime washing might help the brick and stone blend better. Curious to know what the HOA says.

Thank you for your suggestion!!! I love the idea of lime washing the brick. We have had quotes on going that route, as well. However, since the rest of the homes in our neighborhood are brick, the HOA is very apprehensive about the idea. They are asking for professional renderings and we aren’t sure we can provide that. What colors would you recommend if painting or lime wash is denied? Thank you so much!
