The same advice as the other question on this topic. take a door go to stone yards lookat slabs see what you think works then take home a decent size sample make sure your lighting is all LEDs in 4000K if you do not change the lighting all the colors could look very different in the evening.

Hi, If you see this, did you go with polished or honed Frosty Carrina? Any issues with staining or cracking? I too will have alabaster cabinets and currently have a milky white quartzite on hold that I think may be too busy with the veining. So, thinking of switching to Frosty Carrina honed, which seems to be brighter than the polished. Just nervous about the strength of quartz vs. quartzite with kids at home that leave food and drink spills on the current kitchen countertops! Thanks for any insight!

Hi E Evartt - Yes, I did end up going with frosty carina honed countertops and alabaster cabinets and I absolutely love it! I almost switched the cabinet color to white dove as well, but stuck with alabaster and I don’t even notice the creamy undertone as I did before when I had the paints strips right next to each other. It’s a beautiful bright white, but not bathroom white. While the quartz does occasionally stain with freezer pops and acidic stuff like lemons / limes, it eventually comes out with simple cleaning products, i.e. dish soap. I’m really happy with how everything turned out. Good luck!
