I like the mixture of light and dark pinks, along with the lime green accents. And they did a good job here of adding the upholstered canopy to the twin beds, while still having a rather tailored feel to it. Note the damask pink wallpaper behind the beds. Nice detail without the pattern becoming too dominating.

I think a Jenny Lind bed will stay good looking and last longer. If you have room, get a full size.

I've seen pretty glass pulls on the the DIY show RESTORE, but I don't know the manufacturers.

Make sure you secure the chest to the wall, so it doesn't tip over accidentally.

I love the pink you chose. I used pink and green for both my daughters.

My only suggestion is to think of choices that will grow with her. I wouldn’t lock into an upholstered.

I agree about the daybed. Much easier to make a twin bed. I agree with Sabrina, if a full size bed can fit, get it.

Tall dressers don’t work for kids. Even at 11 my son can’t get into the top drawer of his dresser. 🤦‍♀️

My eight year old really wanted a canopy. I’m so glad we hung one not got something ornate. It’s still up now but she basically lost interest in it a month or two later.

I would focus on a good sturdy frame that is neutral and will grow with her. Accompany this with a great dresser she will eventually be able to access. Add colour and excitement through wall art and bedding.

Jenny Lind style has little to do with princesses or crowns. Does she require the regal treatment or can you go with the simple "girl next door" style of the simpler bed?

Unfortunately I’m working with a small, oddly shaped space. A full bed won’t fit and in order to have ample storage, I need tall dressers as wide (aside from one) won’t fit 😕 What type of drawer pulls would you suggest for the dressers? I’m not crazy about what it comes with.

You can get it with upholstery or simpler, just a metal frame. The tall dressers aren‘t ideal- I’m sure you know to anchor them to the wall. Get her a cute stool to reach the top drawers.

As for the pulls, look up 2-hole pulls/handles and the center-to-center distance. So many cute ones.

A canopy would work as long as it’s a twin. I love that look and kind of forgot to explore that option!!! And I agree, tall bureaus aren’t ideal but unfortunately it’s my only choice in this room. There’s only wall space for one horizontal dresser and she will really need the extra storage of the two lingerie chests since her closet is tiny. All of our furniture throughout our home is anchored to the wall (she’s our 3rd kid), so that will be a given. This won’t be her forever room, so trying to make do for the next five or so years until we either move or build an addition. I absolutely adore those drawer pulls 😍 thank you SO much for the recommendation!

You could go with a less princess-type canopy bed that’ll work into her teenage years (Lose the canopy, more modern styling when she’s older).

if I didn’t have a husband with an opinion I’d probably make him sleep in one of these, even at my age.
