This seems like a job that needs to be looked at by a pool specialist...someone that can offer several options that may work...this tiny tile at the top edge of the pool ...may not be safe when entering and exiting the pool...

It depends on whether you have completely straight walls and only square corners. My pool has curved walls, and so this would not work on it.

I would want something with more variation in it, with light and dark tiles. It is kind of boring if all the tiles look too much alike. If it is a very narrow border, it would be okay, no more than three tiles high.
