Use form-a-drain as the forms for your footers and install your sump pumps. The vendor's rules say 2 sump pumps, hard to get around that.

@formulaross20 thank you, I've heard of formadrains but haven't looked into too far. The company doesn't care what you do once the footer drains are in place and out of the footer zone, they just can't go under the load of the precast walls. Superior walls only asks for the or the other but their price is way higher for essentially the same product.

Are Superior walls still placed on a gravel bed? Then the interior slab floor is poured?

@formulaross20 Correct, with first floor framing in place prior to backfilling to lock in walls. I hate the idea of maintenance which is why I'm building my now second home and the thought of one sump pump bothers me, let alone two. Oh well, if they last 10 years, I guess it isn't that bad.

Can you disclose how much per lf is like 9' superior walls are?

Superior in Manitoba actually specs Form-a-Drain for their walls. (I'm always tempted to use them if I can find a framing contractor who isn't permanently stuck in "that's not the way we always do it" rut!)
