is the bottom compartment a drawer, or a hinged door? Photos differ!

The first image shows a drawer, the second and third photos depict a hinged door. Which is it? If hinged, is there a cutout for electrical chords in the back?

    This bookcase has four open shelves with a hinged drop-down door at the base. There is no hole at the bottom for electric chords.
