Garden Clinic Herbs

my cilantro & basil!

I’ve had a hard time with my cilantro since the beginning. However it’s started dying really fast the last two days. I’m not sure why, any help?
My basil began to turn brown and crisp up. I haven’t done anything differently though.
My rider merry is going great but that’s all 😞 this is my first time growing and need help.

Do your pots have a drainage hole in the bottom? The soil looks wet.

They do. And I just watered them before I took the picture

If it makes you feel any better, I find those two herbs just about impossible. :)

My basil and other herbs go crazy and look healthier than any of my flowers! I plant them in full sun in a planter, and it gets pretty hot her in the summer, but it seems they love the heat. I water them every day. So I'd say get them in a very sunny area. Basil is a Mediterranean plant so it loves the heat.
