your gray paint may be a little too blue for that warmer, yellowish flooring. I'd pick a gray that leans towards the yellow side of the color wheel.

For your tile, you could do the wall around the window, and matching white tile on the other walls. or, use the tile throughout. you can also use that tile in other designs, like a vertical chevron.

I like Gossamer veil but either could work. Make sure you get samples and see it in your space in a bigger area.

stay over in the yellow side of the grays. You're trying to match slight gray veining and ignoring the all-over yellowish side of the wood!

you see the diff in tone when they're placed next to your blue colors?

Now, if you had a baby blue vanity, or blue tile, or a soft blue gray countertop, I'd say sure, use your colors. but if you're strictly trying to match that flooring, you have to go warmer

I guess the question is Do you want pale blue Walls? Because blue can work with that flooring.

Have you looked at the Annie Selke Tile? She has some great ones that lean Scandinavian.

Different lighting. Different colors. I would like some contrast between a white tile and/or counter and paint color. I see the importance of staying in the ‘yellow’ tones. The main living area and hallways will be Alabaster. My initial thought was it was too yellow. But bringing large sample out to the house helped me see it didn’t look that way on our northerly facing home. And it works.
I’m leaning towards Neutral Ground and making it just a hint darker???
I do love how blue works too. Just not sure I want to get locked in to a color.

Is the pattern on the tiles printed or textured? You might consider that a textured tile like that in a shower will be very hard to keep clean.

dc,,,,why don't you get a few samples and try them on your wall? holding paint chips up to the flooring won't be an accurate result. your room, the lighting, the reflection, will all alter the actual color.

grab a few that you like and try them.

Curious about your flooring! Is this the COREtec Grande Makkah you mentioned? I’m interested in this, as well as the Empire oak color. Do you have any pictures of it installed, other than those found at COREtec website?

Hi dcsam - Thank you for your posts of the Grande Makkah. I'm currently getting ready to pull the trigger on this for our house. Any further feedback or advice or update pics? I'm doing over 2,000 sq ft and getting a little nervous:) What paint did you end up going with and do you like it? Loving the look of your home!!

We’re still lovin the floor. We chose Sherwin Williams alabaster white for the majority of the walls. Our home is North-facing, if that makes any difference
