Yes or No Polished Silestone for counters
Hi. One year ago we had the calcutta gold in the suede finished installed in our home. They have been a nightmare. We have chips, scratches and marks all over them - in the 30 or so mark range and they look HORRIFIC. We had Consentino who makes silestone come out to file a warranty claim which they denied twice saying all marks were caused by excessive force on the counter. Three of us live in this home and use the kitchen as a normal person would. WIth that being said, they look so bad and are so marked up we are looking to change the counters. I was wondering if anyone had better luck with the polished finish of this product or if in fact it is Consentino and silestone. I do really love the look of the calcutta gold look. I raised 5 kids in a home for 18 years with regular quartz and NEVER had a mark or cut on it and that kitchen was WELL used and would be open to going that route....Any input would be welcome.
