Hi Houzzers!

We are looking to move our Laundry Room from the basement to the upstairs floor so it is on the same level as the bedrooms (hoping to add 2 bedrooms too). Any tips?? How much space should be alotted for a well-functioning laundry room for a family of 6 with LOTS of laundry? Is laundry Noisy near bedrooms?—we tend to use it late at night when kids asleep. Any great organization tips for the space? What’s worked for you? And what should we AVOID in planning? Thanks so much!
