I would go with the darkest color of the garage front of that section of the house.

Agree with windows for garage door, and a color that blends with the brick. Yes to brightening the front door and porch. You want more focus there than the garage.

I normally like a wood garage door however your brick color doesn't look like it would work with a wood looking garage door (from here). Agree with chloebud and Patricia Coldwell on what would work. Shift the focus to your front door and away from the garage.

Am not a big fan of the brick. Am going to suggest painting it. Once painted it can't be undone though. The brick color just seems drab and a bit dirty from the variations in it. Yes to a new garage door and yes to having lites (windows) in it. Nothing opens up a facade like windows and your garage door presents a fully flat facade that' isn't really appealing. It's unfortunate that your garage dominates almost entirely. It obscures your entrance. Would love to see some type of roof element added to signify this is the entry and to relieve the dominance of the garage. It's a pretty house. Good luck!

I really like this option too! We are planning on replacing the front door with a black door with no sidelight and replacing the windows with black framed windows. Also, we share the front lawn with our neighbor. is that a second garden in front of the existing one?
