Master Bathroom Layout Help

We are adding a master bedroom and bathroom to our house. The bathroom seems spacious but as we started to add some nice-to-have features, it's feeling a bit cramped. We really want to add some linen storage as well as a makeup vanity to the space.

I'd love to get your input on the floorplan below with the following in mind:

-the shower and bath cannot move - The shower is actually 3.5 x 6ft but you can't see the whole thing in this picture.

-We have a 72" pre-fab double sink vanity we would prefer to use in the space. It does not have additional pieces so any towers we add will need to be custom made to match. Would prefer to drywall in storage space if possible, and either leave as open storage or add a custom door.

-The makeup vanity space we were thinking of adding is just a slab of stone attached to the wall or side of the vanity with a mirror and lighting. No drawers or nothing too big - thinking 30" or so.

-I really like the look of one big mirror over the vanity with sconces instead of separate mirrors.

I also included a couple of pictures of layouts we are considering. So far we are leaning towards the of the makeup vanity off the left of the vanity and narrow built-in storage off to the left all along the shower wall. Do any of these make sense? Good? Bad? I want to hear it please! Thank you!

IMO makeup vanities require storage and if you have the make up stored somehwere else that is where you apply your makeup IMO bathrooms are the worst place for makeup to be stored. . How do you intend to use the toilet room off away from the bathroom If you are doing what they do in Europe then you need a sink in there and if not a toilet room inside a batrhoom is just plain silly , no one should be using the toilet while someone else is in the bathroom.A free standing tub requires at least 1’ all around it and honestly more if you really want that glam look. Do you use a tub? Do you have one somewhere else in the house ? IMO a much larger vanity instead of the storage on either side no open shelves and a larger vanity gives you a lot more storage and leaves the room feeling larger . The shower looks very small do you not use that every day. I think you need to tell us what your needs are and then your wants. The more drawers for storage the better and also some idea of your style would be nice.

I apologize I wasn't clearer. I want to add a counter somewhere so I can have seating and get ready for medical reasons and then add some linen storage. I have some physical issues which require me at times to get off my feet when doing my hair and makeup. Not having drawers for the makeup vanity is fine by me as I can use a small acrylic storage unit to hold the few everyday items I use on the counter and the vanity will hold my hair products. Yes, adding a bigger vanity will allow for more storage but not a space to sit. The space to sit is the priority - it doesn't need to be big or fancy. We plan to be in this house for 20 years so resale is not really important in this design.

The toilet IS in the bathroom and just has a door to separate it. We like this feature and will be retaining it - it's pretty standard here in my area. And to be real, it's common when you have 3 kids to have someone in the bathroom while someone is on the toilet. I also use a bathtub multiple days per week and don't like it in the middle of a room with space around it. As I mentioned in my original post, the shower is 3'6" x 6' so it's plenty big, it's just cut out of the picture here where the house extends out the front.

My style is fairly transitional - I like timeless, clean, simple lines, not alot of pattern or anything busy. I'm pretty practical and want a pretty bathroom that's functional with the items I mentioned. Does that help?
